What does the song Quiet Storm (1975) by Motown legend Smokey Robinson have to do with the current exhibition at the Kunstraum? And what role does a plum variety popular in Central Africa play in it? And how does this in turn relate to the term "decolonial ecology"?
A Quiet Storm Blowin’ is the first solo exhibition of DJ, poet, artist and community organizer Soñ Gweha (aka SOÑXSEED) in Austria. On the last day of the show, you will have the opportunity to explore questions like these with Frederike Sperling, our artistic director and curator of the exhibition, and dive even deeper into Soñ Gweha's transdisciplinary practice.
The tour will be in German and can be translated into English if needed. Participation is free of charge, no registration is required.
HERE you’ll find more information about the exhibition.
